In a remarkable achievement, the County Government of Mombasa has been ranked as the third most improved county in the 2024 CountyTrak Performance Index, conducted by Infotrak Research and Consulting. This annual index evaluates the performance of Kenya’s 47 county governments across various key performance indicators, reflecting citizens’ satisfaction with service delivery and governance.

The recognition was bestowed during a colorful ceremony held in Nairobi, where Mombasa’s Deputy Governor, Francis Thoya, accepted multiple awards on behalf of the county.
